        We consider Faaker See one of the most beautiful lakes in Carinthia. In our opinion, it’s ideal for those who want to enjoy swimming in turquoise water, mountain views, calmer water sports, and trips without long travel times during their holiday. It’s located in the Villach \u2013 Faaker See \u2013 Ossiacher See region, and its biggest draws are the southern Carinthian atmosphere and panoramic views of the Mittagskogel mountain in the Karawanks.<\/p>\n

        We personally highlight the high water clarity and the fact that you can enjoy water activities like swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or sailing here. There are several rental shops on-site, but feel free to pack your own paddleboards or inflatable kayaks, just like we do.<\/p>\n
